Here are some ideas:

Mix with juice and chug-a-lug
Blend into a raw cacao & maca hot chocolate
Mix into your yogurt
Add to your baking
Mix with honey and take a tsp medicinally
Make your own delicious chocolate!
Here’s the recipe you’ve all been waiting for… Easy Homemade Lover’s Chocolate! This chocolate incorporates both cacao and maca, is super easy to make, and you can find all of the ingredients very easily in your local health food store.
Serve it for dessert on Valentines, or anytime you’d like the mood to strike ; )
Lover’s Chocolate
½ cup coconut oil
¼ cup maple syrup
½ cup cacao powder
½ tsp maca
1 tbsp slivered almonds
1 tbsp dried cranberries
1 tbsp shredded coconut
• In a small pot, melt the coconut oil and maple syrup together.
• Whisk in the cacao and maca until all lumps are dissolved.
• Once incorporated, taste to ensure it’s sweet enough for your tastes as cacao can be quite bitter.
• Transfer mixture to a glass measuring cup.
• Grab a muffin tin, and line 6 to 12 cups with cupcake paper cups. In this pic I’ve used 6 cups and the chocolate is about 1cm thick.
• Pour the mixtures into the cups dividing the chocolate evenly between the cups.
• Top with slivered almonds, cranberries and shredded coconut.
• Place in the fridge for an hour to set.
Note that this chocolate will melt quickly at room temperature so eat it up fast : )
Next week I’ll give you a simple breakfast smoothie recipe using maca and cacao!
Have a wonderful Valentine’s!!
